While I love Dallas, and have lived here my whole life, and don't really plan on leaving (look at my name :P ) I have to say I love Austin, and if I had to move it would be to Austin. And this is a great photo of the city skyline.

But.... Dallas still has a far better skyline ;P

Thank you for the compliment! Austin is a great town so I can see why this would be your second choice (should be your first though, just saying :P). However I do agree with you about Dallas having a better skyline! :)

Very cool city-scape, and looks like the weather was very cooperative...love the reflection in the lake as well, nice capture :)

Thank you for the kind words. Yes, the weather has been great down here, in the 70s everyday and clear blue skies but I keep hoping for at least some clouds to last until sunset! :)

it seemed my time growing up there construction was so rampant, it was a lot of ugly and inconvenience. i hope by the time i move back Austin and San Marcos will have merged.

Agreed. The city keeps growing so construction is still rampant although a lot more isolated than it used to be (running out of space I think given the constraints of the lake and highways in the downtown area). That being said you may get your wish after all since there doesn't seem to be much more of an option than to spread even further South. :)
